Landmark Graphics was in the process of redesigning their WELLPLAN application, and had released a preliminary version to a select group of customers. We needed to gather their feedback and determine what other improvements were needed before the final release of the application.
We asked user to use WELLPLAN Next Gen along side their current software, and scheduled interviews once they had ample time to explore the software. We then conducted these user interviews either in person or over the phone, depending on the availability of the user.
We were able to take the data collected from users and use that feedback to improve the application. In one case, we were able to drastically reduce the number of clicks needed for a specific workflow – from 17 clicks to only 4 clicks!
